Sunderland Strollers

Strollers Christmas party 29th Dec. 2003

A typical Stroller's Christmas Do was held at Fulwell Firestation Club. Nearly 100 Strollers, friends and family turned out and we even let in a few Harriers! We aren't too fussy about the company we keep!

Highlights of the evening included..

Cheap beer, that's always a fine thing at a Strollers Do.
The raffle in which Jo won that willy warmer she wanted!
Beca asking if she could borrow Gavin's crutches because they look like fun!

This year the Christmas party included the Club Championship presentation. The prize winners were:

Well done everyone and try harder next year the rest of you.

We also made a £100 donation to Gavin Massingham to help in his drinking while in the USA.. training, sorry, not drinking, while at college in the USA on some athletics scholarship. Perhaps if somone in the know lets me know I'll put a few more details here.
