Sunderland Strollers is a sociable running club with a
sense of humour which is based at Ashbrooke
We have over 300 members with
40% women and an age range from 21-72.
Take running as seriously as you
like. Some members never race, while others race
most weeks at distances from 5km to Ultra Marathon and
everything in between.
£20/year to join the Strollers and this includes your
England Athletics (UKA) registration fee.

We arrange training every Monday night, Wednesday night,
Friday night and Sunday morning.
If you are new the Wednesday night training session, from
Ashbrooke Sports Club at 7pm, is the best one to come
along to as this is our main training night. Usually
over 100 runners turn out and we have:
packs that are based on your 10k time: sub 41 minutes,
41-45, 45-48, 48-51, 51-55 and 55+
eight mile steady run at 8:15-8:30/mile
six mile steady run at
9:15 - 9:30/mile
Support for Charities
Strollers have raised over £3,500 for some very worthy
charities with the Doorstep Marathon and Half Marathon,
Dave Dixon's Coast to Coast Cycle Ride and the Turkey
Trot. Be proud Strollers!

season we take part in the North East Harrier
2014/2015 results can be found on the Harrier League results
We also enter teams into various
local Relay Races and in May every year, we host the Pier to Pier Race.
